Can't wait to see her. Thanks for sharing your own memories.Laurie LC Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11642055237160385791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186243171131934995.post-29504122917913574102011-03-28T08:39:18.058-04:002011-03-28T08:39:18.058-04:00I loved this post. No invites because if you were family you didn't need one.She was Italian and my Dad was Scots/Irish and Italian . :)
My Mom is gone now but I will never forget her "bear hugs" or her laughter. :)Unfortunately we've now lost track of our relatives. Everyone moved away and life I guess got in the way. I wanted my kids to know what I grew up with. They did for awhile while my parents and grandmother was alive.
I wish you much happiness when you reunite with your family Laurie. I truly believe children should know their heritage and relatives, if possible because it gives them a sense of where they come from. Happy Reunion. :) Your Aunt Dot sounds wonderful.
Carol L
Lucky4750@aol.comCarol L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05291123842810883524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4186243171131934995.post-63383209085867533202011-03-24T19:08:22.771-04:002011-03-24T19:08:22.771-04:00I think that kind of mother-love crosses all borde...I think that kind of mother-love crosses all borders and bloodlines. Cuz that was pretty much what my Mom did when she came to take care of me. Maybe she has some heritage she doesn't know about?HailerStarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04363727004781587143noreply@blogger.com
